Storage can bridge a planned gap between properties or provide additional time during a move. The right arrangement depends on the volume, access, length of stay and intended delivery date.
Wooden containers inside a warehouse
Wooden storage containers keep grouped household contents together inside a warehouse. Belongings are loaded, the container is secured and it remains in storage until delivery is arranged.
This can suit customers who need their complete move held between collection and a later delivery.
Shipping-container storage
Shipping containers provide a larger enclosed storage space. The suitable option depends on the quantity being stored, the handling required and availability at the time.
You do not need to choose the container type before contacting us. Tell us about the contents and likely duration so we can discuss an appropriate arrangement.

Packing belongings for storage
- Use strong boxes and label them clearly
- Make sure appliances are clean and dry
- Do not pack food, hazardous items or leaking liquids
- Keep documents, medication and valuables with you
- Identify anything you may need before final delivery
- Tell us about fragile or unusually heavy belongings
Unexpected delays
If exchange, completion or another part of the move is delayed, contact us immediately. An alternative arrangement may be possible, but it depends on available storage, vehicles and staff.
Where storage was not included in the original plan, the customer remains responsible for the resulting handling, storage and return-removal charges.
